Compliant Pin Fixtures & Presses
Fancort designs and builds fixtures and bench-top air presses for pressing compliant pin connectors into circuit boards. The following images illustrate a 78-pin connector application that was accomplished with a fixture and Fancort 5000L press with 1 ton of pressure. Other air and air over hydraulic presses are available with pressure to 5 tons; for applications requiring a load cell and programmable force, speed,dwell time, and more, we have a line of ElectroPresses with pressure to 8000kgf.
